The tagline that make me exclaimed "WWHHHAAATTTT????" According to GMA 7, they are the "House of Truth" (Tahanan ng Katotohanan, walang kinikilingan, walang pinoprotektahan,  servisyong totoo lamang), but is this claim for real?


The tagline itself "walang kinikilingan", meaning even one is on truth side, they will not listen? "walang prinoprotektahan, meaning even a molested child or molested women, they will not be protected? "servisyong tooto lamang" how much did you earned everytime there were calamities wherein thousands of dollars and pesos is deposited on your account to help 'those people'. For the reason to grab high ratings against other network, GMA 7 just did.  They just listen to LIARS and their manufactured lies, and protected the VICIOUS who had great influence and power.  I guess this is not an opinion only, but there were too many viewers who can tell their being bias and self-serving network.

And recently, one of leading newspaper in the country catered the very suspicious motive of GMA7 boasting and claiming that for the month of July and August, their ratings were set up high over ABS-CBN, long-time rival of channel7.  Very timely indeed that in August, the Members Church of God International, widely known as Ang Dating Daan, support the BOYCOTT of this channel as well as the other linked channel, QTV11. They already deleted the two channels on their TV programs. And campaign of boycotting is seen widely and increasingly over Tweeter and Facebook.  It also withdraws the attention of other news channels and broadsheets.  The claim is just another lies of GMA7.  Because in reality, their viewers is lessen everyday. Most of my neighbors were watching channel 2 and 5 in the morning, especially in evening.While MCGI and many supporters of Ang Dating Daan is watching UNTV 37! The real public service channel.

The Overwhelming Feeling Everytime I Heard Bro. Eli Soriano

When I heard Benigno Ninoy Aquino's speech when he was in America about his struggles and ill-experience over Marcos regimen, in a public television, i really was overwhelmed, and the spirit of patriotism woke-up inside of me.  When I read and understand the meaning of Jose Rizals novel, Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, the same feeling of awesomeness I felt, and the love to my homeland is strongly waking me up. The overwhelming feeling that is hard to explain, the happiness my heart felt, the understanding that was shared to congregation, every time I heard Bro. Eli Soriano's teaching. It is more intense that the patriotism that has almost gone on my mind, but this feeling that awaken my inner soul, the person inside of me, sleepy always in hearing righteousness or anything about the scripture, was suddenly shaken and become thirsty and hungry of something that only the words coming from Bro. Eli will suffice its hunger. Magical and fantastic, and still Biblical, the words of the Gospel.


Bro. Eli, the messenger sent by God, always suffice our needs spiritually. And even the material needs of  a brethren he gave to show the real meaning of brotherhood and fatherhood. Simply because he follow his teacher, our teacher, Lord Jesus Christ.  Exactly the reason why our souls are shouting and jumping with joy when another mystery in a scripture unfold. 

Bro. Eli Soriano: Man of God

Nowadays, many are claiming this title: Man of God or Messenger of God, others have already claim the highest one, the Son of God.  Whatever title they wanted to call themselves, only one is true and Biblical, that the man of God holds the word of God, teaching it and keeping it. And those who heard his teaching, believe and embrace the word, walk with it until the end.

I met Bro. Eli Soriano in a television program sometime in year 2000.  He hosted the top-religious program 'Ang Dating Daan", since then I keep on watching the program.  I found him "troublesome" at first, for he shouted during his explanation, he even exclaimed the word "gago, tarantado, puta" that give me a feeling of annoyance. Slowly I realized that what he is saying are all true and with basis, the BIBLE.  From then on, I'd been a fan of Bro. Eli, although I am still in connection with Catholic Church. I learned many things from listening to him, from religious to science, philosophy and history, Bro. Eli's program is very informative.  No wonder it was chosen as the Most Informative Religious Program in Gawad America Award last November 2006.

If Erni Baron is called as the walking-encyclopedia in his time, Bro. Eli is the walking-Bible in our time.  He knows everything about the Bible, that no one can. To prove that, the segment "Itanong Mo kay Soriano: Biblia ang Sasagot, wherein  audiences can ask him outright and be replied at once.  From all kind of questions about the Bible and religion and things that connected to it, Bro. Eli answered intelligently and sensibly.  Even out of this world questions, he answered patiently and wittingly.

Now, I included myself into the fold of Members of Church of God International, presided by Bro. Eli. The things I've learned in watching him in television is just a introduction of a more and beautiful things about God, followers of God, real and true life with God and Jesus Christ and the Christian community.  In this fold, I understand the meaning of life and how to live as real Christian. I remember one quote of Muhammad Ghandi,  "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.", by listening to Bro. Eli, I understand the reasons why Ghandi said that, simply because many had claimed and still claiming that they are Christians but do not follow Christ.   Example of this as what Bro. Eli taught to congregation, is the creation and bowing to images/idols that for God is abomination.  Another teaching of Christ that as-if-Christian did not follow is "(Mat 5:44)  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; because to them an enemy of faith shall be liquidated and be persecuted up to death.

Thousand of miles of difference from other preachers, Bro. Eli, despite of persecution and all lies manufactured by enemies, he still remain faithful to his advocacy, to spread the gospel to the world, to give hope to hopeless people, to open the eyes of the blind, not only in his land Philippines but also to all countries that God will permit.

Introducing Me

Hello everyone, I do not know how to introduce myself to blogspere formally or do i have to? I do not know  if there is a format to follow, all i will do is to type on my keypad the words that will come up on my mind, please bear with me.

1. When HR Manager asked me "what contributions you can give for the growth of the company and what capabilities do you have to be shortlisted?"  I smiled first and think very fast, the problem is, all the thoughts that I had practiced  at home had gone. Paused. I prayed "Help me Lord". And I open my mouth and started to talked. Smile again. " Alright, we will call you if you are hired, " HR says.  After that interview, what have I done, I cannot remember any word I exclaimed, only the smiling part. The bad news is I do not wear a perfect smile that will please anyone, especially them! I wish I am Angelina Jollie, with that killer smile, job is easy to win. Anyway to cut the long story short, they called me before I reached home.  And I said to myself, "that is the power of praying!" Why? I am bad in interviews, I have no license, I think I only have is the GUTS and the TRUST.  Then I worked with them for only 3 months, I resigned afterward. Just because the people around are very unfriendly! And I charged it to experience! That was my Experience sometime in 2003. The lesson I learned: Money is not everything. Acceptance is something. Friends make you life easier.

2. Year 2004  - I found friends in my new job, many friends, and I work with them peacefully. Truly a friendly-working environment make your life and job easier. But not until I met my boss, Jennifer F., a Taiwanese. I would like to say something about her in a very light and respective manner that will not accuse my words as libelous. Have any idea of this woman? I will stop in here to avoid sarcastic words for this woman. May the Lord rebuke her. Lesson I learned: Having a very unlikeable boss like mine will turned you into an ill-person. Warning: Avoid Jennifer F. I did after 2 years of serving her company.

3. Although unusual, I grab an opportunity to work again to my first company where I learned my basic experience as an employee. Smaller than before, less manpower, and the most factor I consider is I already knew the employees there, and used to be my friends before.  Life is easier not until the person contacted me to work with them again changed differently.  Prior to that, we're friends, we exchanges messages, and we visited her at her home. Before she left for definite leave, she was already a manager there, we're in good terms.  I assumed her load as what as instructed, I was an officer. Life is easier as I have said, despite of my overloading works. When she returns, conflict between us started. Later i learned that my co-employees had the same agony, for they were maltreated by her for over years now.  It was the 2008 recession, that company made my contract with them ended. And I knew it was politically motivated.  Lesson I learned: If you cannot beat her, leave her and never ever join her.  It is really hard to pretend you are alright when untrusted person is around. Forgive and forget! I already forgiven her for all her misdeeds to me, so that my God will also forgive me in return.

Now, have any idea about me? 

 

Surely, I am a frustrated employee looking for better management and friendly co-workers that make my life easier.  Really hard to find isn't it.
